After an Update, a Quick Sale

I met these lovely clients, Melanie and John, through their daughter who is a good friend of mine. They lived in this condo for several years and it served them well! It was time to make another move and they decided to put the condo up for sale while the market was hot. We priced the listing at market value and got lots of showings, but no offers. I listened to the feedback agents were giving and relayed it all to my clients. They needed to update the flooring! The carpet in the condo kept coming up in the feedback so after a discussion about that and considering the comparables, the owners changed the carpet to a beautiful clean laminate throughout. We took new photos and relisted. Within a couple of days we had two fantastic offers on the table and my clients were able to net exactly what they wanted for the condo - giving them peace of mind to move on to the next chapter in their lives. Sometimes small changes can make a big impact and this was a perfect example of that.
